I was craving for Ilocos Empanada one Sunday afternoon. I only find empanadas like this in Food Bazaars. I'm tired of waiting for Friday nights and Sunday morning to come just so I can get one of these. Thank God for Internet!!! I got to know this place from internet research. This place is open from Tuesday-Sunday. I'm not sure if on Monday's they operate in the morning or not at all.
Sunday afternoon was a swift drive from Makati to Quezon City. It's also a chance for me and habibi to get away. It kinda feel special when you drive far just for food, you know. It's worth the trip, I tell you! Especially if you have a husband who is not a fan of fancy food.
I've been to Ilocos once 12 years ago (or so?). I remember having Vigan longganisa but not anymore of what I'm going to mention here. I am just glad that I get to give my palate a rest from the usual sinigang and tinola baby food in our house.
